Square Image ("we", "our", the "Service") provides free browser-based image tools at squareanimage.com. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use them. The short version: your images never leave your device, and we don't ask you for any personal information.

Your images

All image processing — squaring, blurring, cropping, resizing, profile-picture and frame effects — happens entirely inside your browser using your device's own processor. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else's. When you close the page, nothing of your image remains anywhere except on your own device.

Information we collect

We don't offer accounts, and we never ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the tools. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data.

Cookies and local storage

The Service itself stores only one thing in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme preference. It never leaves your browser and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

Third-party advertising (described below) may set cookies of its own.

Advertising

We show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the Service free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can control this:

The Service is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, there is typically nothing for us to act on — for data processed by Google in connection with advertising, please use the Google controls linked above.
